Fine or coarse? Choose the right grain size
- Fine (4-8 mm): For medium-rooted plants such as Calathea, Philodendron, Maranta or Anthurium. They benefit from even moisture regulation with good air circulation.
- Coarse (8-16 mm): For large arum plants or houseplants that prefer to be drier between waterings. Keeps the substrate particularly loose and reduces the risk of overwatering.
Both variants offer excellent drainage, plenty of oxygen for the roots and still store just the right amount of moisture.
Care instructions:
Place your plant in the pot, fill with the houseplant mineral mix and water thoroughly. Thanks to the slow-release fertiliser, you don't need to top up the fertiliser for the first six months. After that, you can continue with the Sybotanica slow-release fertiliser series. Perfect for self-watering systems, transparent pots or hanging planters.
