Against spider mites
Using beneficial insects against pests is the most biological way of controlling pests. The predatory mite species Phytoseiulus persimilis is suitable for controlling spider mites on ornamental plants indoors as well as on berries and vegetables under cover.
Application:
Silvery-white or yellowish mottling of the leaves is typical of a spider mite infestation. The pests are located on the underside of the leaves. If the infestation is severe, they cover them with a fine web on which the spider mites are visible to the naked eye as small, moving dots.
The predatory mites of the species Phytoseiulus persimilis actively search for their prey on the plant and suck it out. The predatory mites require a relative humidity of over 60% (spray plants with water if necessary) and temperatures above 18 °C (ideal: 20-28 °C).
The beneficial insects are supplied on a fine-grained substrate and are thus scattered evenly over the plants to be treated. 200 predatory mites are sufficient for the treatment of approx. 5-10 plants of approx. 40 cm in height. Repeat treatment if necessary. In case of very heavy infestation, treat plants first with NeemAzal- T/S .

Plants indoors: all year round.
